WGAE Master Class in Digital Journalism

Course dates (and you must sign up for − and attend − all five): November 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Time: 6:00-9:00pm

                       Writers Guild of America, East
                       and CUNY Midtown Campus.

First class will be held at WGAE,  locations for classes on November 8, 15, 22, and 29 will be announced.
 
Our members face unprecedented career pressure as the business transforms onto multiple platforms requiring multiple skills. Jeremy Caplan of CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism will present five three-hour sessions in which newswriters and other news professionals and other news professionals can immerse themselves in the hands-on workshops focused on key skills and best practices in digital video, audio, photography and social media.  This course will be taught at the CUNY media lab in midtown Manhattan and at the WGAE offices.  Note:  The WGAE will loan Flip Cameras to students enrolled in this course.

Who should attend: News and public television members will get first priority for the 25 slots in this course.
